Brand Voice & Guides
My role as Brand Writer was to empower everyone who wrote on behalf of the company to write using one, unified voice.
My priority was to uphold writing consistency and reinforce the company’s tone so we appear both professional and trustworthy to our audience.
How I Promoted Brand Consistency at SUSE
Company Writer’s Guide
I rebuilt, owned, and maintained the company’s official writing guide, which included all company-approved punctuation, spelling, and best practices.
This was the official go-to guide for every person who wrote external-facing copy on behalf of SUSE, from campaign managers and marketing leads to social media managers and content writers.

Partnering closely with the Director of Technical Marketing, Product Managers, and team leads, I created a comprehensive spreadsheet filled with the key features and benefits for all our B2B products and solutions.
This ensured consistent messaging across customer touchpoints, from campaigns and paid ads to kiosks at in-person events.
